What stays on your Mac

Permissions

Each one is optional and asked only when you turn on the feature that needs it.

This website

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles your IP address to deliver it. We count visits, downloads and update checks as daily totals, along with the country and the site a visit came from. This uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. We don't store IP addresses or anything else that identifies a person or a Mac.

Donations

If you support NotchOne, that happens on GitHub Sponsors and GitHub's privacy policy applies.

Updates

When it finds a new version, NotchOne downloads it over HTTPS and installs it only if Apple's code signing confirms it was signed with our Developer ID.
